GLOBALGAP Certificate

In addition to adhering to the principles of integrated production, we also acquired GLOBALGAP certificate.

GLOBALGAP is a widely applied world standard for the primary production of fresh fruits and vegetables. It has derived from the EUREPGAP commercial standard (European Retail Product and Good Agricultural Practice) which was renamed GLOBALGAP in 2007 due to the global expansion of EUREPGAP. GLOBALGAP standards have been developed for the purpose of creating a generally accepted framework for good agricultural practice (GAP) which is documented in a way that enables the certification process following internationally accepted procedures. It encompasses all farm activities, which include good agricultural practice (GAP), program of integrated pesticide control (IPC), quality management system (QMS) and hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) principles. The aims of implementing GLOBALGAP standards are building and strengthening the trust of consumers in the quality and health safety of the products, reducing the negative environmental impact of traditional agricultural practices and continuing care for the health and safety both of the employees and the farm animals. The assessment of our production processes and products within the GLOBALGAP framework shows that not only do we meet its requirements, but we also contribute to sustainable agriculture oriented towards future generations by its careful management of soil, air and water. With the GLOBALGAP certificate, we provide the consumer with information on the origin, as well as the health safety of the product.
